How long does it take to sell or buy a property?

From the date when terms are agreed subject to contract and the buyer’s offer is accepted and we are instructed up to the date you can move in to your home will depend on a number of factors. The average process takes between 6 – 8 weeks.  However, timescales may increase and change depending on factors such as the number of parties involved in the chain, whether you are buying a new build property, and whether your mortgage lender requires to be represented separately.
